Winter Wedding Fun

Chris and I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful winter wedding in late February.  I've only ever been to a couple winter weddings, but this one was stunning.

Photo via couple's FB page since I failed to get one of the gorgeous cathedral!

We escaped New York City with enough time for Chris to catch some soccer with friends in Albany before we changed and rushed over to the early afternoon ceremony held in a gorgeous Troy cathedral.  Upon the ceremony's conclusion we headed over to the Revolution Hall reception venue.  It was great to catch up with several Albany friends while we waited for the bride and groom!

The band proved a perfect fit for this group of dancing maniacs!!  Everyone had a great night!  Congrats to the newlyweds - Joe and Jess!  #JQ2

The next day, Chris and I met up with my Aunt Mildred, Pete, and Gary to catch up over brunch.  We went to Angelo's Tavolo at this neat spot in Scotia - Glen Sanders Mansion.

And then we wrapped up our time in Albany by visiting the Lukowski's.  We were SO excited to meet their new little one, Amelia.  She is so precious and tiny at just one month old.  We had a great time spending a couple hours with them before we drove back to the city in the beginnings of a crazy snowstorm.
